In order to create a new page on your Matchpoint portal, you will click on the menu Website and Networks > Web Design > Website Management and select the portal.

Once inside the portal, you will click on the Pages menu and then on the button ‘New’.

On The next screen we will see the editor to create a new page for our website. Please see the description of all the settings below.

Once we have completed the basic settings of the page, we can proceed to the ‘Sections’ tab, on the left. Here we can create as many new sections as necessary, each with its on format and functionality.

When creating a new section, we will have to fill in a form with its main settings. Please see the description of each setting in the image below.

When creating each section, we are required to select which type of section are we creating. Let’s have a look at all the available options.

HTML

When choosing HTML, we will be presented with an HTML editor to create the content of our section.

We can either use the commands in the text editor menu or, by clicking on ‘Fuente HTML’ design the page directly in HTML (or past it from an external source).

This would be the appearance on the website of a section created with the HTML editor. Of course, in this case, no particular style or effect was applied, so it is a basic looking text.

IMAGE

This option allows us to create a section containing just an image. Here is how it would look like on the webpage:

HTML WITH IMAGE

By choosing this option, we will be able to add an image to our section, without having to use the HTML editor button to upload the picture.

CONTACT

With this option, a contact form will be created in the section. We can provide an email address to which the contact requests will be forwarded.

LOCATION

We can fill in the form with the coordinates of a specific place and the webpage will display its position on a map.

CONTACT INFORMATION

This option allows us to create a section that is a combination of the previous two, a contact form and a location.

PHOTOS GALLERY

In a Photos gallery section, we can select a previously uploaded album and publish it in one of our pages.

PHOTOS SLIDER

Same as the previous one, but the photos are arranged in a slider rather than a thumbnail.

YOUTUBE CHANNEL

This option allows us to publish on our website a gallery of videos. The Youtube urls of all videos have been previously stored in a dedicated section in the menu ‘Website and Networks’.

If when creating a section we choose the type ‘latest registered’, we will publish a list of the last players who registered on-line.

CUSTOMER SEARCH

A customer search section will allow our visitors to search for other players according to criteria such as age, played sport and level. Customers can prevent other people to find them through their personal settings.

Just like the news sections, you can publish on your page the events that are taking place at the club. Events are exactly like the news, but visitors can sign up to them. You can create events in Website and Networks > Content for portals and mobile app > Events.

CHAMPIONSHIP LIST

With this option you can publish on your webpage a list of championships organized by your club. You can define the number of entries and which type of championship will be displayed.

Exactly like the previous option, but also the main image of the championship is shown.
